Enterprise Applications Manager (ERP, Collaboration, Productivity)

As the Engineering Manager for SaaS Enterprise Applications, you will be responsible for leading the engineering strategy and ensuring the quality of our enterprise-wide ERP, communication, collaboration, and productivity tools.

This role is crucial to our business operations and offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on our company-wide communication, productivity and collaboration strategies.​

We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within Ontario or British Columbia, Canada. We’d love for you to join us!

The Impact You'll Have

  • Guide the engineering strategy to enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity across the enterprise.
  • Oversee the use and management of tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Sage-Intacct, Airbase, Zoom, and Box.
  • Provide robust leadership and execution to maintain secure, efficient, and effective collaboration operations across the company.
  • Collaborate closely with security, compliance, and privacy teams to ensure adherence to policies, particularly in relation to AI features in our software tools.
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of our collaboration tools and make recommendations for improvements or changes as necessary.
  • Manage documentation and update tool usage policies.
  • Communicate to leadership KPIs and SLAs, including SaaS uptime and usage metrics.
  • Manage the budget and 3rd party vendor relationships to grow partnership.
  • Curate and execute roadmap initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to priority and plan.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology or software engineering.
  • 7+ years proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of managing enterprise applications for a 1000 person organization.
  • Strong expertise and hands on system administration experience with Apple, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, and Box.
  • Experience with ERP systems (GL, AP, AR) such as Sage-Intacct and procurement applications (Airbase).
  • Excellent in data management and systems integration.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent vendor management and software spend management. 
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and privacy policies in relation to software tools.

Nice-To-Haves

  • Experience with AI features in software tools is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Marqeta is a Flex First company which allows you to choose your best working environment, whether that be from home or at a company office. To support Flex First, we calibrate pay to a competitive value according to working location. 

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position, reflected in CAD,  is: 128,300 - 160,400.
