Role Overview
The Manager, Gift Processing takes primary responsibility for managing the day to day relationship with our caging and keying vendor who enhance MSF’s fundraising capacity. The manager ensures the vendor meets or exceeds their contractual obligations by delivering products and services in a high quality and timely manner. The Manager, Gift Processing manages three assistant level positions within the team and ensures all functions and responsibilities of these staff members are completed while also consistently reviewing business practices and making necessary suggestions for improvement. The Manager will also need to be up to date on all processes handled by the three Gift Processing Assistants to ensure there is consistent back up for all tasks handled by the team. The manager will also support the Senior Manager, Gift Processing on strategic plans including roadmaps, budgeting, and technology improvements.

Prospecting
Pursue strategic opportunities in coherence with MSF-USA´s strategy, that create long-term value for the movement by identifying and developing new audience segments or donors for its mission.
Donor Cultivation, Engagement and Management
Build trust and loyalty with potential and existing donors. At the simplest level, update donors on activities. At a more complex level, build long-term relationships with key donors and key donor segments. Take overall responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering the donor engagement strategy. May be through channels or through personal relationships.
Fundraising
Secure reliable, sustainable and efficient resources in alignment with MSF-US commitments.
Brand Positioning
Drive awareness and consideration through brand positioning based on the brand strategy and implement brand plans.
Best-in-Class Fundraising Systems and Capabilities
Deploy and champion the latest technological systems and capabilities that push the boundaries of what Development can produce for its donors.

Roles Specific Outcomes Team Management Provide direct supervision and support to the assistants within the gift processing team, focusing on daily operations, setting clear goals, and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance team performance. Stakeholder Management Oversee strategies to engage stakeholders and build strong working relationships that support project success. Oversee stakeholder engagement activities to create open lines of communication. Ensure stakeholder needs are identified and addressed proactively, aligning goals with stakeholder expectations. Data Management Oversee specific aspects of data management, ensuring the accurate input and validation of data within established systems. Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of data entries, ensuring that vendors are adhering to input standards. Provide feedback on data quality, guiding vendors where necessary to improve data handling processes. Data Collection and Analysis Analyze operational data to track performance and provide insights that drive continuous improvement. Prepare and analyze routine reports to monitor key operational metrics. Independently identify patterns and trends, using this data to suggest process improvements. Provide analysis to senior leadership to support decision-making. These core accountabilities should not be construed to contain every function/responsibility that may be required to be performed by an incumbent in this job. Desired Qualifications & Experience At a minimum the Job Holder should possess: · 3+ years of experience in operational roles, preferably within a nonprofit or fundraising environment, with a proven track record of managing small to medium-sized teams · BA preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. · At least 2 years’ experience within a Gift Processing environment. · Proficiency in CRM and gift processing software, such as Salesforce, and Excel for data management and analysis. · Proven ability to manage vendors. · Strong computer literacy, including ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database software, and to learn new Windows-based programs · Ability to handle a large volume of work and support staff in their work in a stressful environment. · Outstanding time management and organizational skills including ability to prioritize ongoing vs. immediate needs appropriately. · Demonstrated understanding of goals of various branches of Development with the ability to follow complex technical and business processes. |

Compensation
$78,399 - $117,599 (all new employees will be compensated from the minimum to midpoint based on experience)
