Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Manager to lead the ads monetization strategy for our portfolio of tail brands. This role is pivotal in ensuring that tail brands are effectively engaging with the ads ecosystem, with the ultimate goal of maximizing ad sales and revenue growth. The Senior Manager will be responsible for coordinating efforts between internal teams, external agencies, and third-party vendors to drive ad investments across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Agency & Vendor Coordination:
    • Build strong relationships with external agencies, internal teams and category teams to ensure optimal campaign management and execution.
    • Monitor and oversee the performance of agencies and vendors to ensure key KPIs are met and that best practices are followed.
    • Collaborate with supply & store teams to develop strategies that maximize ad spend efficiency and brand visibility
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional dept., product, data, and supply teams to ensure seamless integration of ads monetization initiatives.
    • Provide guidance and insights to optimize ad campaigns and targeting strategies.
  3. Performance Analysis & Optimization:
    • Analyze campaign performance metrics, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive improvements to ensure high ROI on ad spend.
    • Use analytics tools and data insights to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports for leadership on ad revenue and performance.
  4. Ads Monetization Strategy:
    • Lead the ads monetization strategy and implementation for tail brands, ensuring alignment with broader revenue goals.
    • Identify and explore new revenue opportunities by leveraging various on-app & off-app assets
    • Develop a clear roadmap for ads performance improvement and guide the adoption of new ad formats and technologies.
  5. Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Develop and manage the ads monetization budget for tail brands across agencies, track return on investment & run offers and promotions
    • Work on forecasting revenue from ads, setting realistic targets, and adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Preferably B.Tech or MBA for a renowned college (preferably Tier 1 or 2 college)   
    • Strong analytical skills (must know advanced excel and sql)
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of experience in ads monetization sales, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
    • Strong experience in working with agencies and other external partners.
    • Preferred to have experience in the eCommerce or digital consumer industry. 
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Amazon Ads, FK Ads, Google/Meta Ads)
    • Experience in developing performance reports and working with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.).
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and collaborate across teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
