The Role
The Outbound Supervisor at Nabis is responsible for overseeing the timely, accurate, and efficient packing and shipping of all outbound orders from our Woodlake facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring daily delivery goals are met, orders are accurately fulfilled, and customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest level.
Reporting to warehouse management, the Outbound Supervisor leads a team of associates and works cross-functionally with Inventory, Inbound, Dispatch, and QA teams to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience in warehouse fulfillment, a commitment to quality and detail, and a strong ability to motivate and manage teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the outbound team to meet or exceed daily pick, pack, and ship goals.
- Manage the daily fulfillment schedule, prioritizing orders based on deadlines and delivery requirements.
- Monitor team productivity and quality, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and support.
- Maintain accountability for order accuracy and quality standards to minimize mispacks, delays, and customer dissatisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Inventory Control and QA teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of outbound metrics and daily operational KPIs.
- Ensure warehouse safety standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Proactively identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Support training initiatives to maintain a highly skilled and flexible outbound workforce.
- Drive the adoption of new operational programs, including the LTL (Less Than Truckload) fulfillment processes.
- Participate in operational meetings, providing feedback and solutions based on day-to-day observations.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older to work in the cannabis industry
- Cannabis experience: 2+ years of experience
- Customer Service: 2+ years experience
- Last-mile distribution and logistics: 2+ years experience
- Associate degree OR 2 years relevant work experience
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- Knowledge of manual and systematic warehouse movement
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and twist
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Monday - Friday on-site work availability
- Ability to work occasional weekend shifts
- Clean driving record
