About the Role
The Fleet & Facilities Site Supervisor (Overnight) is responsible for maintaining fleet readiness, facility operations, and safety compliance during overnight hours at Nabis’ Woodlake location. This role ensures all vehicles, equipment, and site infrastructure are prepared to support next-day operations.
Working independently overnight, this individual monitors site conditions, addresses issues in real time, and coordinates with Operations, Infrastructure and vendors as needed to maintain a safe, functional, and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Readiness
- Ensure all vehicles are ready for dispatch (regularly audited, clean, and compliant)
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, fuses, etc.) and identify repair needs
- Act as escalation and communication point for overnight vehicle issues, including towing, swaps, and service coordination
- Track vehicle readiness, maintenance needs, and compliance requirements in internal systems
- Flag non-urgent issues for daytime follow-up and service scheduling
Facility Operations
- Conduct nightly facility walkthroughs to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational functionality
- Monitor and address issues related to HVAC, dock doors, gates, lighting, and general infrastructure
- Maintain organization of staging areas, yard space, and shared equipment
- Manage warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, Joeys), including battery tracking, charging, and condition monitoring
- Operate and maintain equipment such as cardboard balers
- Coordinate vendors for urgent overnight repairs and facility needs
- Support inventory tracking and ordering of supplies as needed
Safety & Compliance
- Serve as the onsite safety point of contact during overnight operations
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety protocols
- Respond to and document safety incidents, ensuring proper escalation and follow-up
- Support training, certification, and decertification tracking for warehouse equipment
- Act as the overnight escalation point for fleet & facilities issues, prioritizing tasks based on operational risk and ensuring next-day readiness
Qualifications & Skills
- 2-4+ years of experience in fleet operations, facilities maintenance, warehouse operations, or similar environments
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift or equipment certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of basic vehicle maintenance, facility systems, and safety protocols
- Experience training or enforcing safe equipment usage (e.g., forklifts or warehouse equipment) is a plus
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced, operational setting (overnight experience preferred)
- Ability to have direct, constructive conversations with team members to ensure safe and compliant equipment usage
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make real-time decisions
- Comfortable coordinating vendors and managing external service providers
- Proficiency with Google Sheets (or Excel) and willingness to learn internal systems
Requirements
- Must be 21+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work overnight shifts and operate independently
- Willingness to support occasional schedule flexibility as needed
