About the Role:

We are seeking a Digital Designer who will work closely with the creative team to deliver the best in class paid advertising and organic creative. Ideally you have some in-house or start-up experience and are comfortable partnering with copywriters, social media managers, designers and marketing strategy partners on a wide breadth of creative initiatives. You're collaborative, innovative and enthusiastic, always looking to learn while bringing your design expertise to the table. You are obsessed with design aesthetic, social media, video, animation, typography and refining your craft. This role will be responsible for the design of monthly campaign and promotional collateral for organic and paid social. This designer will have an emphasis on digital design evolving our paid advertising approach and video work, meaning you have a keen understanding of how the social world is evolving and how to approach reels, tiktok, paid with a branded lens. Your goal is to always deliver the best creative possible-which means, of course, that you're both conceptual AND proficient in the Figma/Adobe Creative Suite. If you are a quick learner, are enthusiastic, and thrive in a fast-paced, reactive environment, then you are a great candidate. This position will report to the Senior Graphic Designer.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Design creative assets across the entire brand ecosystem
  • Concepting and executing long form and short form branded animated videos
  • Work closely with video editors to create best in class video content
  • Design support on ongoing initiatives e.g. website assets, emails, landing pages, organic social, and mor
  • Work with Senior Designer and team to develop innovative paid advertising across all social channels
  • Maintain the look-and-feel of a new and evolving omni-channel brand design system
  • Prepare and present creative work
  • Work effectively with internal colleagues to complete projects within time frame
  • Prioritize and manage multiple jobs simultaneously, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with outside vendors and give creative direction

Who you are:

  • Demonstrated passion for design, has awareness of creative trends that can be translated into the day to day work
  • On top of social media trends, and works in a social first mind set
  • Obsessed with animation design and driven to evolve the way the brand shows up in the digital world
  • Keen attention to detail and able to deliver high quality work across multiple verticals
  • Ability to receives, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders into design work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and resourceful under tight timelines
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with different stakeholders and work cross collaboratively
  • Highly motivated and interested in further developing and expanding their skills in this fast-changing environment

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years in a Designer role working on digital creative collateral 
  • Experience working in a start-up, retail, parenting/baby space and tech companies, a plus 
  • A pro at animation, 3d and video design, and always evolving those skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in design or creative studies
  • Well rounded portfolio with strengths in print and digital design
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign and Google Suite
  • Team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills
  • Great communication, time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines
  • Excellent typographic and layout skills
  • Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects
  • Proven examples of your creative executions/solutions in successful campaigns/projects

This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC headquarters 3 days per week.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 base salary, equity and benefits. The base pay is one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.
