Senior Software Engineer, Web3D

Hours: Full-time - EST

The role

Napster is looking to bring on a Senior Software Engineer, Web 3D to join the Enterprise team. The position will be remotely based in the continental United States and reports to John Mann, Enterprise Senior Vice President. You’ll lead the development of cutting-edge 3D web applications and immersive experiences for global clients.

What you’ll do

• Develop complex web components using React/Three.js
• Optimize performance for various devices and browsers
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to create engaging user experiences
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices for 3D web development
• Integrate component customizations with backend services and data sources

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in CSS, JavaScript and Three.js
• Solid understanding of 3D graphics principles and WebGL
• Familiarity with React ecosystem tools (e.g., Create React App, Next.js)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

We’ll be extra pumped if you have

• Experience with shader programming (GLSL)
• Familiarity with WebXR for AR/VR experiences
• Experience with Node.js and API development
• Contributions to open-source Three.js projects or plugins

Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
