Sr. AI Engineer

Hybrid - Bangalore

Narvar is growing! As an AI Automation Engineer at Narvar, you will play a critical role in quickly prototyping, integrating, and deploying cutting-edge AI tools (e.g., LangGraph, LlamaIndex) to streamline internal business processes and workflows. Working closely with the CTO, you will help identify areas ripe for AI-driven automation, build proof-of-concept solutions, and then scale these solutions to production to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency across the company.

Day-to-day

  • Rapid Prototyping of AI Tools
    • Utilize various open-source AI libraries (e.g., LangGraph, LlamaIndex) to develop quick proof-of-concepts that address internal business challenges.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate prototypes and iterate based on feedback.
  • Automation of Workflows
    • Identify and automate repetitive or manual business processes using AI-based scripts and integrations.
    • Develop and maintain reliable routines that significantly reduce time spent on manual data tasks.
  • Integration with Internal Systems
    • Integrate AI-driven automations into existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal disruption to current processes.
    • Collaborate with data engineers and system architects to ensure robust, secure, and scalable implementations.
  • Collaboration with CTO
    • Align AI initiatives with broader business strategies and objectives.
    • Provide regular updates, demonstrations, and performance metrics to help guide decision-making at the executive level.
  • Scalability & Maintenance
    • Transition successful prototypes into fully supported production solutions.
    • Document code, maintain best practices, and implement monitoring to ensure long-term reliability and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with product managers, data analysts, and operations teams to integrate AI capabilities into different parts of the organization.
    • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate adoption and understanding.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Gather feedback from internal users to refine AI-driven solutions.
    • Stay updated on emerging AI tools and trends to continually enhance Narvar’s internal capabilities.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience developing or integrating AI/automation tools to solve business problems.
  • Proficiency in Python (or similar languages) for scripting, rapid prototyping, and API integrations.
  • Ability to build full-stack applications, including front-end interfaces and back-end services.
  • Familiarity with modern AI libraries (e.g., LangGraph, LlamaIndex) and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • Working knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) for data extraction and integration.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for hosting and deploying automation scripts or services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and think creatively about business challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Competitive programming experience is a plus.
  • An advanced degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, etc.) is a plus.
