Maintenance Planner
Shift: 1st shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, Overtime when needed
Pay: $37+ Depending on Experience,
SUMMARY
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of maintenance tasks using Maintenance Connection Software. This role supports the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisors with data entry and file system management and serves as a backup for the Parts Inventory Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintenance of equipment spare parts organization and proper inventory levels.
- Expedite critical parts orders.
- Responsible for tracking all purchases for parts and vendors
- Develop and maintain strong communication with different departments within the company.
- Coordinate parts restocking orders.
- Coordinate vendors/contractors
- Responsible for kitting parts for upcoming work
- Champion of maintenance software.
- Generate PM and TPM work orders using Maintenance Connection software.
- Ensure parts are available to perform planned and unplanned work orders.
- Schedule repair and PM work orders.
- Update Task list to improve workorder structure.
- Upload work order information to maintain work order history file.
- Responsible for establishing accounts with outside vendors for parts ordering.
- Ensure WO closing by verifying job completion and signing off on work performed and documentation compliance.
- Tracks and logs workers training time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.
- Maintain equipment and drawing files.
- Responsible to conduct frequent physical inventory counts of spare parts and ensure adequate levels are maintained.
- Assist Maintenance Mechanics with maintenance work during breakdown situations
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
