Position Overview:
As the Content & Communications Associate, you will be responsible for writing engaging blog posts (from provided outlines or content), managing our social media presence, and assisting with the design and creation of presentations and client-facing documents. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure all communications are polished, professional, and on-brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and polish blog posts, and articles based on provided content, ensuring clarity, engagement, and brand alignment.
- Manage and grow our social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram), including building social media strategy, drafting posts, scheduling content, and responding to audience engagement.
- Assist in the design and formatting of presentations, pitch decks, and other internal/external documents using tools like PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva.
- Support the creation of visually appealing client-facing materials, including one-pagers, proposals, and reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
- Track and report on content performance metrics, suggesting optimizations to improve reach and engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with digital trends, best practices, and competitor activity to inform our content strategy.
- Represent the company professionally in all communications, both internally and externally.
Required Qualifications:
- 1ā3 years of experience in content creation, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
- Experience with presentation and document design tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to work physically on-site in Alameda, CA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a client-facing role or supporting business development initiatives.
- Graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Understanding of analytics and reporting for social media and content performance.
- Interest in Mobility\Luxury\Boating and enthusiasm for innovation and technology.
