World Feed Production Manager, International Production Operations (External Agency)

The NFL is hiring a World Feed Production Manager, International Production Operations Associate (External Agency).  This role will liaise with multiple groups internationally and domestically, plus interact with key broadcast partners in the US and abroad.  The new position will need to manage signal acquisition from the venues, integrate alternate graphics and sponsored production elements via cloud integration into the live feed, then delivery to int’l rights holders. This position will have key input on the graphics and final production elements introduced into the broadcasts each week.  World Feed is a unique game production created for the int’l audience across multiple games per week, and coordination of these elements carry-over through the off-season.  Delivery of the NFL world feed will be pushed across various broadcast distribution methodologies.   

 
This position will work directly with the Senior Director, Int’l Production Operations, to work across network partners, NFL departments (Sponsorship, Football Operations, Broadcast IT/Engineering, Events, etc.) to ensure all world feed games are delivered to int’l partners and broadcast at the highest quality to support the NFL’s broader objectives. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of world feed broadcasts and other pertinent content globally.  
  • Serve as the main point of contact for US host network partners, manage remote live game acquisition and liaise with int’l takers to access the world feed game broadcasts 
  • Maintain day-to-day communication with NFL's int’l partners on game selections, production elements, game day operations, commercial break administration, and broadcast access policies 
  • Oversee the production of WF rem-style broadcasts, including finalizing content integration (i.e. graphics, VT’s & bumpers), to ensure the highest quality experience.   
  • Track crew schedules and help manage key NFL equipment installed at NFL stadia. 
  • Work closely with the NFL International Sponsorship team to unlock media partner assets for marketing purposes 
  • Representing broadcast priorities in the ongoing expansion and evolution of the NFL’s international games and other tentpole events 
  • Offseason Projects: Support various offseason projects, including the NFL’s universal game credentialing system, network offseason content capture, and summer seminars to prepare broadcast partners for the upcoming season. 
  • Game of the future
    • Support development of broadcast production innovation, technological game advancements, and enhanced feed distribution across all network partners and int’l rights holders to ensure best broadcast experience for int’l fans. 
    • Contribute towards cross-departmental competitive enhancements in NFL games, integrating broadcast partners into those solutions. 
  • Game Production 
    • Collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally to provide a cutting-edge broadcast experience for the int’l audience.   
    • Ensure a reliable, low-latency, feed for NFL int’l rights holders to access across on-site productions and globally. 
  • Weekly Broadcast Operations / Game Day Support  
      • Manage relationships with int’l rights holders, network partners, NFL teams and their stadiums, internal NFL departments to support the international broadcast productions of world feed games. 
      • Support operational and production elements around the broadcasts, to ensure proper connectivity in advance of game day for int’l rights holders. 
      • Serve as a primary contact to address game day issues related to world feed broadcasts during all respective game windows. 
      • Support and maintain the equipment located at each stadium. 

       

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5+ years in sports, broadcast or other analytical or project management roles 
  • Knowledge of current broadcast production, operations and/or content delivery methodologies including cloud production 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

    • Strong quantitative and organizational skills 

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Evening, weekend, holiday and extra work hours around NFL games, event commitments and deadlines 
  • Some Travel around planning and execution of NFL games and events, domestic and international 

Salary

$1,900 - $2,350 USD
