Marketing Coordinator (Seasonal Role)

NFL Germany is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Seasonal Marketing Support. This role plays a key part in supporting the continued growth of the NFL brand in one of our most dynamic international markets. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, Germany, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with both local and international colleagues across the Marketing and Public Relations teams.

This position is ideal for a self-starter with a strong interest in American football, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for marketing in a fast-paced, international environment.

This is a seasonal position for a duration of six months. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to shape and communicate the NFL narrative within the German-speaking market.
  • Support the execution of marketing initiatives through administrative coordination and project management.
  • Develop detailed reports and post-campaign recaps for internal use and stakeholder review.
  • Prepare insightful presentations and marketing analyses for the NFL Germany leadership team.
  • Analyze marketing, social media, and commercial partnership initiatives, offering data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Contribute to brainstorming and concept development for new projects and campaigns.
  • Independently manage select local marketing projects and team-related events.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across Europe and the United States

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sports Management, Marketing, Journalism); relevant professional experience is an advantage.
  • Graduated in the top 10% of your academic cohort.
  • Prior experience in an international business or media environment preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.

  • Strong knowledge of the NFL and American football culture is a significant asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German and English.
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Occasional domestic travel may be required.
  • 40 hours per week
