Growth Audiences Marketing Associate (External Staffing Agency)

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and culturally minded leader to support Growth Audience marketing efforts. This role will support the Global Brand and Consumer Marketing Growth Audience team to execute the youth and Flag Football marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to build a career at the intersection of brand, sport, and culture. You’re passionate about culture and have a sharp eye on emerging trends. You understand what’s shaping conversations today, what’s coming next, and use those insights to inspire ideas and drive relevance. 

This is a termporary hourly contract opportunity, covering a maternity leave, based out of our NYC League Office.

 Responsibilities:

Strategic Support, Planning and Go-To-Market Coordination 

  • Support and document Growth Audience marketing strategies, objectives and performance measures 
  • Translate Growth Audience marketing priorities and tactics into consistent, clear and calendarized plans 
  • Maintain and update centralized planning frameworks and toolkits for cross-functional uses 
  • Produce presentations and communication materials for leadership 
  • Project manage and execute fully integrated marketing campaigns for top initiatives, including NFL FLAG, NFL FLAG Championships 

 Flag Football Marketing Support & Execution: 

  • Execute flag football marketing strategy, working with key internal and external stakeholders, helping to build out support efforts on the ramp up to Flag Football’s debut in the LA28 Olympic Games 
  • Build weekly trackers and dashboards to capture flag support across broadcast integrations, landing page KPIs and club and partner activations 
  • Support amplification efforts across NFL Tentpoles (PBG, Super Bowl, International Games), driving strategy and execution of deliverables across broadcast team, clubs, football development, comms, social and sponsorship  
  • Continuously identify and unlock synergies across broader flag football strategy, stakeholders and partners 

 Youth Partner Support: 

  • Support and own key youth partner relationships with day-to-day support needs including asset tracking, building Go To Market plans, amplification efforts and internal tracking 
  • Coordinate key meetings and input-gathering processes 
  • Identify emerging trends to help inform strategy  

 Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in brand or sports marketing, agency partnerships or other relevant roles 
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Strong project management skills and comfort working with a variety of stakeholders to hit deadlines 
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

$45 - $55 USD
