Facility Associate (Custodial)

Primary Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Lead Facilities and Office Coordinator and works closely with individuals in all divisions of NISC. The primary responsibility is to maintain a clean and safe work environment for all staff and visitors.
This is a full-time position with a flexible shift start time. Regular workdays are Monday through Friday, with shifts starting between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. The preferred schedule will be discussed and finalized during the hiring process in coordination with the Lead Facilities and Office Coordinator.
The starting pay for this position is $15.00 per hour.
Successful applicants must be able to complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening as a contingency of employment.
Essential Functions:
- Clean offices as often as required.
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.
- Cleans, mops, washes and vacuums floors.
- Empties trash.
- Dusts and washes walls and light fixtures.
- May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- Tracks maintenance and cleaning supplies.
- Clean windows in high traffic areas.
- Dusts and vacuums furniture.
- Help set up and tear down meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Desired Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
