Position Overview:
We are seeking an Integration Lead to lead and execute integration testing for the Business Unit (BU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining all aspects of interface integration tests, ensuring seamless communication between systems and components.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Test Planning:
- Develop a comprehensive system integration test plan outlining all testing activities, timelines, resource allocations, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and define the scope of integration testing.
Integration Testing Execution:
- Perform interfaces integration tests across all defined interfaces and conduct end-to-end (E2E) integration tests to validate the overall system functionality.
- Ensure that testing aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
Support Testing Stages:
- Provide support during all stages of testing related to interface integration, including:
- Test data preparation and management.
- Use of interface simulators to mimic real-world scenarios.
- Verification of test results to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain essential documentation, including:
- System integration test plans.
- Integration test tracking reports to monitor progress and outcomes.
- Updated interface specification documents reflecting any changes or enhancements.
- Interface integration schemes detailing the architecture and flow of data between systems.
- Documentation of interface communication methods and tools used in the testing process.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives and requirements.
- Facilitate regular meetings to discuss testing progress, challenges, and resolutions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement within the testing process and recommend best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to integration testing.
Must Have Skills:
- Overall 15+years of experience with relevancy of 8+ years of experience in integration testing, particularly in telecommunications or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of interface specifications, communication methods, and testing tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
Qualification:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related technical degree.
