About the project

As a Staff Backend Python Engineer, you will serve as a technical linchpin, driving the architectural evolution of our core services while mentoring engineering teams to achieve technical excellence. 

What you’ll do

• Be a hands-on backend/API developer, leading the design & development of the client’s platform and systems integrations end-to-end
• Improve features, scalability, and reliability of the client platform by driving technical & process improvements.
• Own the scoping, design, and delivery of new API features and subsystems, working independently with minimal direction.
• Partner with product, design, and service teams.
• Champion healthy & effective engineering practices.

What makes you a great fit 🎯

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ Years of experience working with Python and Django web development.
• 6+ Years of experience working with SQL.
• Experience with Celery or other background task runners.
• Experience with consumer-facing applications and exposure to web/mobile front ends.
• Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
