MANUFACTURING IT PROJECT MANAGER PLANT SYSTEMS

We are seeking a Manufacturing IT Project Manager to lead projects focused on plant systems and factory floor technology. This role supports manufacturing operations by delivering technology solutions involving MES, PLC integrations, IoT devices, and operational data systems.

This is a hands on delivery role that requires strong on site presence and credibility with plant operations, engineering, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead IT projects supporting manufacturing plant systems and operations

2. Manage implementations involving MES, PLCs, robotics, IoT, and operational data platforms

3. Coordinate closely with plant engineering, operations, and IT teams

4. Manage system integrators and technology vendors supporting plant initiatives

5. Ensure deployments are executed safely and with minimal production disruption

6. Support testing, commissioning, and stabilization of plant systems

7. Drive adoption and operational readiness post implementation

Required Qualifications

1. Seven or more years of experience managing IT projects in manufacturing plants

2. Experience working with plant systems such as MES, PLCs, robotics, or IoT

3. Strong understanding of factory operations and industrial environments

4. Experience delivering projects on site in active manufacturing facilities

5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in automotive or high volume manufacturing environments

2. Familiarity with industrial automation and controls systems

3. Experience coordinating between IT and OT teams
