Overview
This role designs and supports industrial wireless networks that enable Automated Mobile Robots to operate reliably in warehouses and plant floor environments. Network stability and roaming performance are mission critical.
Responsibilities
• Design and deploy industrial wireless networks for AMR operations
• Support seamless roaming across warehouses and production floors
• Troubleshoot interference from machinery and structural materials
• Partner with automation vendors on connectivity requirements
• Perform onsite wireless surveys and tuning
• Support rollout across multiple plants
Required Experience
• Industrial wireless networking experience
• Manufacturing or plant floor network deployments
• Strong understanding of WiFi roaming, latency, and redundancy
• Hands on onsite troubleshooting experience
Preferred Experience
• OT networking exposure
• Cisco industrial wireless platforms
• Prior AMR or AGV network support
