Affiliate Partnerships Growth Manager
About Us:
We're on a mission to make it possible for every person, team, and company to be able to tailor their software to solve any problem and take on any challenge. Computers may be our most powerful tools, but most of us can't build or modify the software we use on them every day. At Notion, we want to change this with focus, design, and craft.
We've been working on this together since 2016, and have customers like Pixar, Mitsubishi, Figma, Plaid, Match Group, and thousands more on this journey with us. Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse and creative as the millions of people Notion reaches worldwide.
Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).
About the role:
As an Affiliate Partnerships Growth Manager on the B2B Growth team, your mission will be to drive acquisition of high-value, product-led growth (PLG) users through strategic affiliates and partnerships. You’ll focus on designing and scaling programs that systematically attract and retain users who use Notion with their teams in their workplaces.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and exceptional stakeholder management skills with a deep understanding of partnership models and our customer journey. You’ll advocate for and address the motivations and pain points of our diverse user base. Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for driving meaningful, scalable growth by refining and expanding a B2B-focused affiliate and partnership portfolio.
What you’ll achieve:
- Drive Scaled Impact:
- Design and own partnership programs that deliver measurable, incremental revenue by acquiring golden set users.
- Own and scale Notion’s Affiliate program, introducing new incentive structures and onboarding impactful partners.
- Launch and test new partnership models in untapped B2B segments through partner acquisition, testing, and iterating.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate across Marketing, Product, Data Science, Business Development, and other teams to design and execute partnership growth initiatives.
- Develop and own a Customer-Centric Partnership Strategy: Leverage qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand Notion’s most valuable user segments. Use customer insights to inform affiliate and partnership strategies that resonate with diverse user needs.
- Efficient Resource Management: Allocate and optimize budgets for partnership and affiliate programs, ensuring positive ROI and maximizing impact.
Skills you’ll need to bring:
- Proven success scaling affiliate programs or partnership models, ideally in a multi-product, multi-audience environment.
- Experience working on PLG companies or SMB-focused ecosystems is a strong plus.
- Exceptional collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to inspire teams with a clear vision and a knack for building internal alignment.
- Customer-first mindset, with an obsession for understanding user motivations and pain points.
- Hypothesis-driven and efficient, with a relentless focus on driving measurable impact.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a bias for action and ownership.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to own work streams end-to-end.
Nice to Haves:
- Technical proficiency with data querying and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Amplitude, Hex).
