About the role
As a Media Expert at Nu you will be responsible for defining and delivering Upper and Middle Funnel Media Strategies to drive brand awareness and consideration. Your role consists of designing Media Strategy in partnership with Marketing, Creative and Product and coordinating its implementation, optimization and measurement on cross-channel campaigns. This person will also be responsible for tailoring innovative media activations, managing the relationship with the main Platforms and working closely with Marketing and Creative teams, Analytics and Performance Marketing.
As Media Expert, you'll be responsible for:
- Strategy: Define Media strategy in partnership with Marketing, Creative and Product;
- Planning & Execution: Plan, set up and coordinate execution of Upper and Middle Funnel campaigns across digital and offline channels balancing efficiency, business goals and quality of delivery;
- Optimization: Measure, monitor and optimize results;
- Test agenda & Experimentation: Design and coordinate testing agenda aiming to maximize performance and scale validated learnings;
- Budget Management: Create media budget plans, monitor, forecast & report to Finance
- Agencies and Platforms relationship: Negotiate deals and align strategies;
- Team Leadership: Define team roadmap, KRs and expectations; mentor, train, and support junior members, helping to develop the media team and its capabilities.
We are looking for a person who has:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 7+ years with proven ownership of upper/mid‑funnel strategies;
- Media Expertise: Strong knowledge of all types of media (digital/ social, TV, OOH, radio);
- Strategic Thinking: Develop media strategies to address business goals while seeking to maximize performance and efficiency;
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and derive insights, good understanding of measurement (GA4) and tagging tools, and concepts such as Brand Lift, Incrementality and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM);
- Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and coordinate with team members, set priorities, and meet deadlines;
- Stakeholder Management: manage relationships with Marketing and Creative teams, Agencies and Media Platforms.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presentations, reports, and internal/external stakeholder engagement;
- Customer-centric: Experience with customer segmentation and targeting, defining best approaches to reach different audiences;
- Team Leadership: Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an integrated team and mentor junior colleagues;
- Full proficiency in English ( Written and spoken)
