About You

We are seeking an experienced VP, Supply Chain to manage a high performing team and lead the daily supply chain and procurement activities at Nutrafol.  You will set the strategy for end-to-end supply chain execution, including procurement, planning, and production. Additionally, you’ll manage budgets, contracts and vendors. 

You will own end-to-end demand and supply planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory strategy, and supplier performance across global DTC, retail, and Amazon marketplace.  Day-to-day you will manage inventory with fulfillment centers, contract manufacturers, and other supply chain nodes. This role entails delivering on cost-saving goals, managing OTIF (on-time and in-full) performance, and managing our Material Resource Plan (MRP). A strong understanding of the nutraceutical marketplace, including raw materials, packaging items, 3rd party vendors, and contract manufactures is essential. 

This role reports into the Chief Supply Chain & Operations Officer, and will work closely with senior level management across the organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Align end-to-end supply chain execution, including procurement, planning, and production to ensure an effective cost of goods
  • Drive demand planning and inventory management to balance customer experience, working capital, and forecast accuracy
  • Lead procurement execution, including supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization initiatives 
  • Develop strong supplier partnerships to mitigate risk through supplier diversification, compliance, and robust business continuity plans
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Commercial, Finance and R&D teams to ensure strict compliance with FDA, OSHA, cGMP, and other industry standards.
  • Define and deliver critical performance measures to include: inventory days, supplier OTIF, production attainment, etc.
  • Support the development and execution of long-term continuous improvement activities across the organization such as S&OP launch and next generation planning technology implementation
  • Lead, develop, and scale high-performing supply chain and procurement teams, enabling a collaborative and effective working environment
  • Support the development of a system wide lifecycle management process across, beginning with item creation through discontinuation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, trade regulations, and ethical standards in all supply chain activities

Requirements

  • 12+ years of related experience managing supply chain within the Vitamins, Minerals, Supplements or nutraceuticals space; experience working with regulated products is required 
  • Expertise in ERP - Microsoft Dynamics 365, Planning tools, productivity/BI reporting tools and collaboration tools
  • 5+ years of experience hiring, managing and coaching people
  • Experience managing a budget and understanding financial implications of operational decisions
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and Microsoft Office experience; Google Suite is a plus
  • Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives, cost savings, and process improvements in a multi-site, asset-light operation
  • Strong negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management skills
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high proficiency in data analytics and decision-making
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience building and motivating high-performing teams
Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.

Salary Range:

$250,000 - $270,000 USD
