The role:

The Data & Analytics Manager role will be pivotal in driving a cultural transformation towards data-driven decision-making across the business. This position will involve leading efforts to integrate data analytics into all aspects of the organization, fostering a mindset that values data as a key asset. The manager will work closely with various teams to ensure data is leveraged effectively for strategic insights and operational improvements, ultimately influencing the company's overall direction and success. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data analytics tools and methodologies, along with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Lead Data Integration Efforts: Lead the integration of data analytics into all aspects of the organization, ensuring a cohesive approach to data utilization across departments.
  • Metric Definition & Alignment: Define and establish key performance metrics that align with the company's strategic goals, ensuring data-driven decision-making and consistent measurement of success across all departments.
  • Data Modeling & Transformation: Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines using SQL and dbt to meet the organization's evolving business needs.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply advanced SQL, Python, and other analytical tools to manipulate and analyze large datasets, providing actionable insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data efficiency and reliability.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives with data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Dashboard Development & Data Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations that provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive Data & Analytics Experience: 4+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field, showcasing a strong track record in data analysis, reporting, and data warehousing.
  • DBT Expertise: Hands-on experience with dbt, showcasing a strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts to build efficient data transformation pipelines.
  • SQL and Looker Expertise: Advanced skills in writing optimized queries, paired with strong Looker developer capabilities, particularly in LookML modeling and overall project design.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand and translate business needs into executable data models that drive insights and decisions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with modern data stack tools and technologies, such as DBT, Looker, Tableau, Redshift, Databricks and Airflow.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for uncovering insights from data.
  • Data Quality Focus: Commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality and accuracy, with experience in implementing data validation and testing frameworks.
  • Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative team environment, building strong relationships with colleagues across various departments to drive unified success.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Continuous Learning: A proactive approach to staying updated with the latest trends and best practices within the analytics space.

Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experience and qualifications for the role. Base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include short & long term incentive compensation. In addition, employees are eligible for our standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and 401K match.
