General Manager, Amazon

Jersey City, NJ

Who We Are

Nuts.com is a beloved, family-owned brand that has stood for the highest quality premium nuts, dried fruit and snacks for over 100 years. Today we continue to build on that heritage combining the quality and delight of a specialty shop with the convenience of modern commerce. We believe marketplaces are not just novel distribution channels - they are customer experiences, discovery engines, and brand moments.

As more customers begin their shopping journey inside platforms like Amazon, Target.com, and Walmart.com, how we show up there increasingly impacts how people understand our brand. Our goal is to build a scalable marketplace presence that drives profitable growth while strengthening the brand customers come back to directly.

You’ll help us design that future.

Where You’ll Come In

As the General Manager, Marketplaces, you will own the strategy and execution of Nuts.com across major third-party marketplaces — starting with Amazon and expanding across other retailer platforms in the future.

This is not a channel-management role. This is a business-building, 0 to 1 role.

You will operate at the intersection of commercial strategy, operations, customer experience, and brand - defining how marketplaces fit into the broader company growth system. You’ll develop hypotheses, test quickly, learn continuously, and build scalable playbooks that turn marketplaces into durable growth engines rather than short-term revenue spikes.

You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Category, Operations, and Finance to ensure marketplace decisions improve the health of the whole business, not just the channel.

How We Work

One Team
We don’t think in channels - we think in customers. Marketplace, DTC, and retail decisions are interconnected, and you’ll help ensure they work together rather than compete.

Hypothesis-Driven Execution
We don’t believe in “best practices” or “industry KPIs”. We don’t care about “benchmarks” - instead we work to be the best we can possibly be.

We form a point of view, test quickly, and update our beliefs. We are on the phone with our customers and leads and pivot quickly if we know there are better ways to solve problems.

Brand & Performance Together
We care equally about conversion and trust. Short-term growth that weakens the brand is a long-term loss.

Operate With Context
Marketplace changes ripple into inventory, merchandising, pricing, and customer expectations. We make decisions holistically and share context early and often.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Own the Amazon Business

  • Define and lead the end-to-end Amazon strategy and P&L - including assortment, pricing, content, advertising, and promotions - to drive sustainable profitable growth.

  • Establish a clear and holistic testing roadmap; translate learnings into company-wide insights.

  • Run regular performance reviews focused on learning and identifying the highest-impact problems to solve next - not simply reporting.

  • Build and evolve highly effective cross-functional operating rhythms, processes, and models across internal teams and external partners (agencies, offshore execution, or in-house support).

  • Shape the long-term roadmap for Amazon, including resourcing, capabilities, and the role the channel plays in the broader business strategy.

  • Own forecasting, FBA inventory planning, and replenishment to maintain strong in-stock performance without creating operational instability.
  • Partner with Category Managers to ensure marketplace assortments reflect consumer demand and reinforce brand positioning.

We’re Excited About You Because

  • You have 7+ years of experience with deep Amazon ownership
  • You combine strategic thinking with excellent execution and have proven success growing a marketplace business
  • You’re analytical but not academic: you translate data into action quickly and drive decisions that balance brand, performance, and profitability
  • You put yourself in the customer’s shoes, and deeply understand the products
  • You are a proactive communicator and an effective collaborator who thrives in ambiguity.
  • You are able to distill complexity and drive clarity across functions.
  • You can partner across marketing, merchandising, operations, and finance with clarity and context.
  • You have a strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, advertising strategy, and merchandising in a marketplace environment.

What we offer:

  • A high-growth and rewarding role in a foundationally strong and rapidly evolving business
  • Annual Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 plus annual bonus
  • Excellent benefits including a 401K Match
  • Paid Maternity, Adoption and Paternity leave
  • And all the Nuts.com snacks your heart desires + a 40% employee discount

**We have a hybrid work environment in our beautiful and state of the art office in Jersey City**

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
