El Puesto

El Líder de Almacén actúa como el principal punto de contacto para los asociados del almacén en NJ2. Este rol es responsable de impulsar la productividad, garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad y calidad, fomentar la moral general y el compromiso del equipo, y trabajar codo con codo con el personal para llevar a cabo las tareas. El Líder de Almacén promueve un entorno inclusivo y orientado al trabajo en equipo, al tiempo que asegura la fluidez de las operaciones diarias. Este puesto reporta directamente al Supervisor de Almacén. 

Qué Harás

  • Gestionar un equipo de hasta 5 empleados y supervisar la asistencia diaria y los objetivos de producción, a la vez que brindas apoyo y capacitación para asegurar que los asociados alcancen las métricas de desempeño establecidas.
  • Dirigir las reuniones diarias de pie previas al turno (stand-ups), incluyendo ejercicios de estiramiento de seguridad, prioridades del turno, objetivos de productividad y actualizaciones de la empresa.
  • Mantener, actualizar y analizar las herramientas de productividad existentes en Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.) utilizando una computadora.
  • Ser responsable de que el equipo cumpla con las políticas de seguridad general, calidad y seguridad alimentaria, así como de escalar cualquier inquietud al gerente correspondiente.
  • Asegurar que el equipo cuente con los recursos necesarios y esté preparado para su turno.
  • Realizar tareas laborales junto con los asociados, asegurando que uno cumpla con sus propios objetivos de productividad.
  • Operar vehículos industriales motorizados (PIV, por sus siglas en inglés) para llevar a cabo las tareas laborales.
  • Brindar apoyo en el proceso de incorporación (onboarding) de nuevos asociados.
  • Otras tareas según se asignen.

Qué Aportarás

  • Capacidad para trabajar en un horario de tiempo completo los lunes, martes, jueves y viernes, de 7:00 a. m. a 5:30 p. m.
  • Experiencia en la operación de PIV.
  • Capacidad para realizar trabajo físico y levantar hasta 50 libras (aprox. 23 kg).
  • Capacidad para permanecer de pie, en promedio, hasta 10 horas por turno.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en una instalación que contiene diversos alérgenos, incluyendo leche, trigo, huevos, mariscos, sésamo, cacahuetes, pescado, frutos secos de árbol y soja.
  • Un fuerte sentido de urgencia para completar las tareas de manera oportuna.
  • Extrema atención al detalle.
  • Excelente ética laboral; siempre puntual y confiable.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse de manera respetuosa, efectiva y profesional con compañeros y gerentes, tanto verbalmente como por escrito.
  • Diploma de escuela secundaria (High School) o su equivalente, o más de 2 años de experiencia en un entorno de almacén o producción de alimentos.
