About the Role
UX Research Supervisor plays a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the end-to-end administrative preparations of research activities, ensuring that we gain deep insights into customer preferences, challenges, and market trends. Working with the UX Lead and other supervisors, they will supervise team and data collection, coding research questionnaires, structuring research plans, allocating teams, syncing research data, and analyzing and presenting findings. By managing these research processes, the UXT Supervisor ensures that Tupande’s strategic decisions are informed by accurate and actionable data. Being a vital link between our organization, its customers, and the market, they collaborate to design and implement research plans that enhance the customer experience and guide Tupande’s strategic direction.
You will report to the UX Lead.
Responsibilities
- You will develop and oversee detailed work plans for UX research projects, including logistics, procurement, and hands-on supervision to ensure projects meet established standards and objectives.
- You will ensure the quality and integrity of research data, maintaining compliance with ethical and research protocols.
- You will collaborate with other team members to identify research needs, shape research processes, and enhance partner satisfaction through communication and consultation.
- You will facilitate training sessions and provide mentorship to the UX Team, promoting career growth and ensuring the team’s skills align with organizational needs.
- You will align with the User Research Team Coordinator on project assignments and implement strategies to improve research processes and outcomes.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in qualitative and quantitative research or quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, analytics, economics or computer science
- 2+ years of relevant experience, including 1 year in full supervision and management of research projects
- Data analysis skills with the ability to translate business and customer insights into actionable solutions
- Stakeholder management skills, both in-person and in writing, with colleagues at all levels and across cultures
- Proficiency in Commcare programming and Google Sheets, with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets (can perform complex functions)
