About the Role
To plan, coordinate and oversee the aggregation and delivery of Macademia & dried fruit products while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance and movement of goods across the supply chain. You will be a part of LOG Soko Team and will report directly to Macadamia & Dried Fruit Specialist. This role is based in Nairobi and is onsite.
Responsibilities
- You will coordinate the collection of raw fruit from farm gates and buying centers.
- You will liaise with farmers, suppliers, and field teams to ensure volumes align with production targets.
- You will take charge of scheduling and tracking inbound deliveries to drying or processing facilities.
- You will work closely with processing teams to ensure drying, sorting, grading, and packaging follow SOPs.
- You will monitor product quality at every stage to meet food safety and buyer requirements.
- You will ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and export compliance standards.
- You will plan and oversee the dispatch of finished goods to warehouses, customers, or export points.
- You will track transport and storage conditions to maintain product freshness and integrity.
- You will prepare and share daily and weekly reports on processed volumes, losses, rejects, and shipments.
- You will keep procurement, logistics, finance, and sales teams informed on progress and challenges.
- You will identify, escalate, and help resolve operational risks or bottlenecks to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain management
- Proficient in Transport Management Systems and tracking tools
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and compliance standards
- Manage several stakeholders and prioritise project management
- Support decision making with data
- Viewing cost reduction and performance tracking in their job role
