Senior Data Ops Engineer
About the Team:
DevOps focuses on providing an end-to-end service to turn software into live services. We work closely with Engineering, QE, and Customer Support teams to continuously improve engineering productivity and service reliability.
About the Role:
- Join this highly motivated team to build and maintain data infrastructure in AWS, GCP for our cutting-edge SaaS security platform
- In charge of building and maintaining data infrastructure with IaC code
- Address tough problems, such as scalability, stability, and visibility.
- Touch but not limited to Cloud SQL, ElasticSearch, ScyllaDB, Databricks, Kafka, Sentry, Dagster, Airflow, Vault, Consul, Kong, Compute Engine, GCS, GKE, Cloud DNS, VPC, PubSub, etc.
- Be responsible for building and maintaining ElasticSearch, RedPanda, ScyllaDB, RDS, and Redis clusters in AWS, GCP environments. Make sure the service is reliable, scalable and high-performance, which is required by the application.
- Work with the engineering team and DevOps closely for capacity planning, performance tuning, and production maintenance.
- Work with the InfoSec team closely to address related production security issues.
- Take on a call shift with the team.
About You:
- 5+ years of Data Ops working experience in AWS/GCP.
- Proven ability to be able to design, build, and maintain major infrastructure components, such as ElasticSearch, RedPanda(kafka), ScyllaDB(Cassandra), RDS(PostgreSQL), and Reds. Be able to address the performance issue and solve it efficiently.
- Computer science or related engineering degrees.
- Expert in ElasticSearch, RedPanda(Kafka), ScyllaDB(Cassandra), RDS(PostgreSQL).
- Good to have experience with Databricks, Dagster, Airflow.
- Good experience on automating things with IaC(Terraform, Ansible).
- Being familiar with Prometheus is a plus.

Pay Transparancy
Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for equity awards and may be eligible for sales commission or incentive compensation based on the role or function within the company.

Base Salary Range
$150,000 - $209,000 USD
