Software Engineer (Front-End)

- Work with a team of smart and passionate engineers to build and maintain our proprietary electronic trading platform
- Use modern tools and methods to expand the capabilities of our cloud-based application
- Help to transition development of our platform to our in-house team
- Collaborate with product teams to develop solutions for current and future customers
Desired experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Senior UI Developer, Frontend Developer, or similar role
- React, Typescript
- Vitest, React Testing Library, Jest or similar
- State management with Redux, Context API or similar
- Routing - React Router, Tanstack Router or similar
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, React Native, and Chakra UI components
- Familiarity with AG-Grid for complex UI data visualization
- Experience in writing UI extensible frameworks
- Good knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles
- Financial services and startup experience preferred.
- Handling mission-critical high-level business outcomes and be able to independently scope, validate and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work directly with our Product Design team to improve user experience within the core product
- Maintain high technical standards within the frontend team (including code quality / code review / performance of the application).
- UI/UX design Ability to design a visually appealing and user-friendly interface for the core products
- Basic knowledge of cloud-based solutions: (Ideally AWS, but open to GCP)
The base pay range for this position in New York is $130,000 - $160,000 annually. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity and year-end bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
