Role

Octus Sustainability 360 is seeking an Operations and Client Delivery Analyst to join the firm working out of our London office. This is an exciting opportunity to support our ESG operations team and influence, innovate and shape our client driven product offerings. While broad in scope the role will specifically support our growing ESG business. You will be part of an entrepreneurial team working to help impact and drive the direction and alignment of the firm’s operational functions. The successful candidate will be a strategic and mission focused individual with the drive to help Octus Sustainability enhance our industry leading operational approach as we redefine the next frontier in financial technology.

You will be a champion for the Octus Sustainability 360, working across business silos to assist in onboarding and operational efforts, leverage technology to enable decision optimization and, to collaborate with the teams on plans to drive continuous improvements and outcomes. You will be responsible for smooth client engagement and operational excellency to support day-to-day operations requests; and assisting management with ad hoc requests. You will also be a champion for internal projects to streamline operational efficiencies across the firm and to support product success and growth in general. You will use excellent communication skills to liaise both internally and externally to be a product advocate for Octus Sustainability 360.

Responsibilities

  • Champion for operational excellence by leading transformational projects
  • Provide ongoing support to the ESG delivery team including but not limited to client onboarding and product delivery
  • Assist in operational delivery of ESG editorial pieces via the Octus and FinDox platforms
  • Working cross functionally with ESG Delivery, Data collection and Octus Sustainability Analysis teams
  • Understand client requirements and create solid plans for implementation
  • Manage a comprehensive pipeline of operational items
  • Be comfortable communicating with clients, public speaking and managing effective meetings
  • Become a product area specialist by understanding how the Octus Sustainability tech and editorial pieces can be implemented into a prospective client’s process and procedures
  • Lead process improvement projects within the ESG operation function
  • Lead operational training for new team members including processes and client engagement
  • Make recommendations to optimize operational functions and procedures to ensure high quality client experience
  • Help to facilitate and resolve day-to-day operational challenges
  • Perform special projects as requested by management
  • Foundational understanding of using AI and a requirement to learn and develop understanding of AI tools with a view to implement AI efficiencies into teams workflows

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Up to 2 years of experience in an operational role or other relevant field
  • Experience translating & working with large data sets
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and autonomy while executing on required tasks
  • Analytical thinker with ability to perform root cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, and lead initiatives under minimal supervision.
  • Flexible and capable of managing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing, and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and strong follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines.
