The Role: 

As Account Director, you'll champion "earned first" thinking to create impactful, culturally relevant consumer PR campaigns. You'll lead a team, build strong client relationships, and drive innovative strategies that generate buzz and deliver measurable results. This role is fun and energetic, offering great opportunities to learn and develop with a variety of complex but rewarding clients. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and collaborative work environment within the account management team, encouraging open communication and constructive feedback. You will manage relationships with third-party vendors, to ensure the agency delivers high-quality work that meets client expectations. You will also act as a liaison between the client and the agency's internal teams, providing clear communication and direction to ensure all parties are aligned on project goals and timelines. You can see opportunity in risk and you’re not afraid to be brave and challenge your clients to want to achieve a better result for all. 
 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Inspire & Lead: Mentor a team to develop and execute breakthrough, "earned first" PR & Influence campaigns. 
  • Client Partnership: Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, understanding their business and anticipating their needs. Guide them across media and social communications. 
  • Creative Strategy: Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling narratives and assets that resonate with target audiences. 
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor campaign performance, leveraging data and analytics to optimize results and demonstrate ROI. 
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new opportunities and approaches to enhance campaign effectiveness. 
  • Budget Management: Manage client budgets effectively, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • New Business: Support new business efforts, participating in pitches and developing compelling proposals. 
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to protect client reputation. 
  • Inclusivity: Champion inclusiveness, diversity, and equity in all aspects of work. 

 
 

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in consumer PR and influence, with a proven track record of driving successful campaigns. 
  • Share and use media knowledge to guide clients on what you believe is the best for their brand 
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior and ability to develop creative strategies that resonate with target audiences. 
  • Demonstrated ability to think "earned first" and create campaigns that generate organic buzz. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Data-driven mindset and analytical skills. 
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices. 
  • Experience in crisis management. 
  • Champion inclusiveness, diversity, and equity in all aspects of work.
