Ogilvy UK are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced People Advisor to join our brilliant People Team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract.
As a People Advisor, you'll be a vital part of our team, providing crucial HR advice and support across our organisation. You'll play a critical role in developing and retaining top talent, ensuring our employees have the resources and support they need to excel.
You'll partner closely with our People Business Partners, helping to shape and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that champion a positive, equitable, and inclusive culture. This is your chance to guide business leaders on a spectrum of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development, all while contributing significantly to our ongoing diversity and inclusion efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice and support to all employees across the organization, ensuring inclusivity and equity in all interactions.
- Partner with business leaders to identify talent development needs and design and implement strategies to support employee growth and development.
- Act as a key point of contact for all employee relations matters, ensuring all concerns are addressed with respect and empathy.
- Lead and support the performance management process, ensuring employees receive regular feedback and support to achieve their goals.
- Develop and deliver training programs on HR policies and procedures, ensuring all employees have a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
- Support the recruitment and selection process, ensuring all candidates are evaluated fairly and without bias.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure all data is managed in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice.
- Work with the People Manager to design and implement policies and programs that promote diversity and inclusivity across the organization.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives, ensuring all employees have a voice and that their feedback is valued and acted upon.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry best practices, proactively recommending changes to policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment.
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Generalist role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and relevant legislation, including labour laws and equal employment opportunity regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- A genuine passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a deep commitment to promoting these values in the workplace.
