About this role:

Mondelēz International is one of the fastest growing clients within Ogilvy and Philadelphia is one of our flagship brands within the portfolio.  This is an opportunity to take on an integral Account Management role on the team, working across both the global and local teams to deliver best in class integrated campaigns. You will be responsible for managing campaign development and execution alongside the planning, creative and delivery management teams based in London, providing creative and strategic support to our sister agencies in key markets across Europe and developing close relationships with our central and local client and agency teams.

This role is for an established and highly organised Account Manager, who is comfortable working at both a global and local level simultaneously.

 

Key Responsibilities:    

Global network co-ordination

  • Managing network coordination and stewardship across key markets (UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, BENELUX, Mexico and more) and setting up a monthly meeting for global market knowledge share.
  • Developing great working relationships with peers across the network to ensure local information is provided in a timely manner and become their go-to person for global knowledge sharing by providing speedy, pro-active and reliable service and basic level strategic and creative market guidance.

Global and local Campaign development

  • Supporting the Account Director and Client Partner in managing the delivery of the larger integrated projects; responsible for your own workstreams.
  • Ownership of your own smaller projects with oversight from the Client Partner.

Ongoing team responsibilities

  • Setting up and ensuring all materials are ready for key presentations throughout the development and production process and circulating contact reports following the meeting.
  • Managing the weekly status meetings, leading the report updates and consolidating actions for both client and agency teams after the meeting.
  • Monitoring industry news and competitor updates – sharing key updates with both the client and agency team.
  • Updating induction presentations and supporting with onboarding new joiners.

Key Skills: 

  • You will have some production experience in delivering fully integrated campaigns.
  • You ideally have some understanding of the structures and processes needed of global and EMEA teams – client and agency side.
  • You take ownership of smaller projects and are able to work with a team to assign specific deliverables across projects (i.e. digital & print) – leading this both internally & with the client team, having responsibility for the output of your team.
  • You are flexible, adaptable and able to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • You build and maintain strong client relationships and recognise the need to build specific relationships and 121 conversations with junior-level clients.
  • You have a collaborative mindset.  This person will be a people person, liaising with multiple internal and external teams and quick-thinking to problem solve throughout the course of any campaign. 
  • You assist and manage client requests, knowing when to escalate to a senior team member, if needed. 
  • You are a team player, energetic, driven and have a positive attitude.
  • You have excellent listening skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You should be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote and feel at ease with adopting and mastering new technology tools.
