Creative Director - Ogilvy Health

London, United Kingdom

Ogilvy Health is seeking a Creative Director with a strong art direction background to lead creative work on key accounts within our healthcare portfolio. This individual will balance hands-on creative leadership with team development, ensuring both exceptional work and a thriving creative culture.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership

  • Own and drive creative direction across key accounts, ensuring big, effective ideas that meet client and patient/HCP needs
  • Bring strong conceptual thinking to every brief—pushing beyond the expected to deliver work that's both strategically sound and creatively distinctive
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in art direction, from concept through execution, across digital, print, and campaign work

Team Development

  • Mentor and grow art directors, designers, and copywriters on the team
  • Foster a collaborative, high-standards creative environment
  • Provide constructive feedback and creative direction that elevates the work and the people making it

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Client Service to align creative solutions with business objectives and timelines
  • Work hand-in-hand with Strategy to ensure ideas are rooted in insight and built to perform
  • Present and defend creative concepts confidently to clients and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in advertising/agency creative roles, with proven experience as an Art Director progressing into creative leadership
  • Healthcare/pharma experience preferred (HCP and/or DTC)
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual and visual storytelling ability
  • Experience managing and developing junior creative talent
  • Excellent collaborator who thrives in cross-functional, client-facing environments
  • Comfortable navigating regulatory/compliance considerations inherent to healthcare marketing
