Role Summary
We are seeking a B2B SaaS Sales Engineer (SE) who thrives at the intersection of technology and go-to-market execution. In this role, you’ll primarily be dedicated to one of OH.io’s portfolio companies, but may flex across two or more as needed. You will partner with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to help define, demonstrate, and deliver technical solutions that accelerate revenue for OH.io and its portfolio companies.

This is a hands-on, pre-sales role ideal for someone who enjoys simplifying complex products, guiding technical evaluations, and collaborating in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments. You will operate across multiple SaaS products, working side-by-side with founders and sales teams to translate product capabilities into customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with AEs and Sales Leadership to support full-cycle B2B SaaS sales efforts, from discovery through close
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and translate customer requirements into clear solution recommendations
  • Deliver engaging, high-impact product demos and proof-of-concepts
  • Collaborate with portfolio company product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between technical capabilities and customer needs
  • Develop reusable demo assets, scripts, and documentation to enable scalable pre-sales motion across Pods
  • Support RFPs, security reviews, and integration scoping as part of enterprise sales cycles
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and technical bridge between customers, sales, and product teams
  • Contribute to internal enablement by sharing best practices and refining pre-sales processes across Pods

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Pre-Sales for B2B SaaS products
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Hands-on familiarity with SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations, and data workflows
  • Demonstrated success supporting sales cycles and helping close mid-market to enterprise deals
  • Self-starter mindset with comfort operating in evolving and ambiguous environments
