THE ROLE
In this role, under the supervision of the Senior Quality Manager the Sr. Quality Specialist will oversee quality control and assurance processes for all OLIPOP copackers, warehouses, blending facilities, and repacking facilities. The Sr. Quality Specialist will be helping to mentor and coach a team of regional quality specialists to ensure compliance with OLIPOP quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives for each third party contract partner facility. This role is responsible for upholding OLIPOP’s quality systems, and to ensure finished products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Training
- Mentor a team of Quality Specialists in full adherence to OLIPOP’s quality standards.
- Develop and conduct training programs for onsite presence at copackers.
- Act as the point of contact between copackers and the OLIPOP Senior Quality Manager.
Copacker Management
- Monitor copacker corrective action program by tracking non-conformances through an investigation platform and ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain positive & responsive relationships with copackers in collaboration with Coman Manager.
- Onsite presence to observe production in real time. Evaluate production data (Brix, pH, CO2, seam checks, etc), attend qualification trials, and uphold OLIPOP’s quality standards.
- Monitor copacker performance as it aligns with Supply Chain KPIs. Identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
- Assist in onboarding new copacking partners ensuring they meet quality and compliance requirements.
Warehouse Management
- Serve as the primary Quality point of contact for 3PL partners ensuring effective communication and compliance with OLIPOP’s Warehouse Expectation Manual.
- Coordinate with OLIPOP 3PL’s and the Supply Chain team to manage the positive release program for all OLIPOP products
- Coordinate product holds and traceability exercises, ensuring timely resolution of quality concerns.
- Conduct Brand Audits to expand and support OLIPOP’s Supply Chain
- Assist in onboarding new third party warehouses.
Document Control
- Maintain OLIPOP document control systems (version, approvals etc.) for all regionally based third party partners.
- Assist Supply Chain team members in the creation and proper formatting of documents.
- Organize and archive documents as necessary.
- Review all SOPs for completeness and accuracy with stakeholders on a regular basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance & Quality Control experience in food & beverage manufacturing. Beverage experience preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing document control processes.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets are required, and prior experience with Google Workspace preferred.
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle complex situations involving multiple SKU’s, channels, and distribution models.
- Transparent, open/honest communicator - a great listener who can work independently while keeping other team members informed
- Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented with the ability to organize assignments, set priorities, and carry out plans.

Other
- 50% travel to copacker, warehouses, or team events as required.
- Located near a major metropolitan airport.
- Potential overnight, weekend or after hours travel.
COMPENSATION:
$85,000-$95,000 base salary + bonus
