A Little Bit About the Role:

In alignment with our expanding capabilities at OLIVER+, we are in need of adept and highly skilled individuals to join our CGI production team, servicing both our existing OEM client ecosystem and our prospects for future client growth. The objective is to facilitate the in-house delivery of diverse content across multiple sectors.

The core responsibility of this role is to foster and enhance pipeline processes within a top-tier CGI production team, catering to a range of content needs for omnichannel purposes. The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in supporting and collaborating with CGI production teams, with a focus on developing and maintaining pipeline tools. This involves the utilization of both pre-existing and custom-designed tools to streamline processes efficiently, elevating both the quality and productivity of our work. Furthermore, the candidate should be forward-thinking, staying attuned to emerging tools and processes to ensure that our production capabilities remain at the forefront of CGI content creation possibilities, which align with our increasing demands.

Crucially, it is imperative for the candidate to operate with transparency among colleagues, making collaboration a central tenet of their work. This should be underpinned by a genuine passion and enthusiasm for what they do 

What You'll be Doing:

  • Creation and maintenance of CGI production pipeline tools and processes to enable teams to operate more cohesively and productively
  • Undertake direction from Heads of department and support artists in developing tools that fulfil captured requirements.
  • Technical and process support for Stills, Animation and Interactive content workstreams, along with CGI model production requirements
  • Be agile and flexible in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ensure transparency with colleagues to maintain efficient working and consistency across all CGI workstreams.
  • Demonstrate ability to remain at the forefront of creative and technical methods and practices, sharing knowledge to provide awareness for future tech and production delivery processes within CGI
  • Be proactive when working collectively with other members of the team to support their needs as required.
  • Drive efficiency and optimisation gains within process workflows and help to identify areas for improvement.

What You'll Need:

  • Demonstrable experience developing tools and processes within CGI production environment in a development capacity.
  • Track record developing and implementing pipeline tools and processes to support CGI production artist and client requirements.
  • Excellent coding and tool development knowledge (c++ / c# / python / melscript / maxscript / java / actionscript / visual basic)
  • Solid understanding of CGI production processes workflows that deliver Stills, Animation and Interactive Content.
  • Good understanding of CGI production processes and toolsets (Rhino3D / 3DS MAX desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop / Illustrator)
  • Appreciation and knowledge of traditional 3D render engines (VRay Desirable).
  • Post production toolset development using Adobe and Foundry Products (PS / AE / Nuke)
  • Understanding of realtime applications (Unity / Unreal Engine).
  • Familiarity working with OEM CAD and complex data sets desirable

Good to have:

  • Experience on automotive brands.
  • Multi-market experience.
  • Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, showcasing a curiosity for exploring its applications and potential impact. A little bit about us
