Governance, Risk, and Compliance Audit Assistant

Role: Governance, Risk, and Compliance Audit Assistant

Location: Mumbai/Hybrid

Reporting to: The Governance, Risk & Compliance Director.

A Little Bit About the Role: 

To work closely with our Compliance team to ensure our global company adheres to legal standards, industry standards, and in-house policies.  

You will assist with: 

Maintaining our various policies. 

Operating our Compliance learning & development system.  

Operating our Health & Safety system. 

Maintaining our ISO27001 certifications.  

Producing reports. 

What You'll be Doing:

Manage Supplier Information Security assessments. 

  • Monitor & record the timely completion of Supplier Information Security questionnaires. 
  • Assist with the day-to-day maintenance of our existing ISO27001 certifications. 
  • Perform audits as required.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the global Health & Safety program. 
  • Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation. 
  • Deal with queries and build relationships with internal customers.  
  • Produce weekly training completion statistics from our L&D systems. 
  • Operate our H&S system and perform DSE assessments for employees upon request. 
  • Fulfill additional / ad hoc duties to meet the needs of the business. 
  • Ensure Health & Safety certifications are kept up to date. 

What You'll Need:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and the ability to engage with people at all levels, both internally and externally. 
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.   
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • A good team worker, willing to be flexible, taking on various activities, and looking to learn and develop within the role. 
  • High Standard of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion. 
  • Microsoft Office – Good to Advanced
  • Minimum 1 year of Compliance experience
