A Little Bit About the Role:
Become a part of our innovative and dynamic team. This is a hands-on role managing the Digital Asset Management system for a leading industry, worker safety, and consumer goods client. and you will be responsible for leading its long-term deployment strategy, implementation and workflow. You will work closely with the client’s Digital Production team offering internal/external support across regions and be a Super User for their DAM.
The person that fills this role will have a unique experience of managing digital assets & global ways of working, exposure to a multi-stakeholder team.
You will be working closely with a team composed of a Performance Analyst and Web Editor. Reporting to the Global Technical Director, the Asset Librarian and Data Analyst, will have direct relationships with clients and work autonomously within their team. However the role requires you to still be a representative of the IIG group
What You'll be Doing:
Responsible for leading long-term deployment strategy, implementation and workflow of the Digital Asset Management system for our client:
- Acts as primary liaison between client and various internal and external stakeholders in the various markets regarding naming conventions, campaigns storage, assets, new photography and archiving
- Will act as a super user for client’s Digital Asset Management system, advising and training markets (made up of internal and external stakeholders)
- Develop and maintain a metadata entry protocol. Work with various stakeholders across the enterprise to define metadata and taxonomy guidelines. Actively promote data consistency to support common standards and analytic
- Responsible for assigning appropriate metadata for assets to ensure accurate usage rights
- Manages the Digital Asset system and facilitate the uploading of assets as well as maintaining and upgrading the system. This may also include training users
- Registers internal and external users to the Digital Asset Management system based on permissions
- Facilitates retrieval of previously catalogued images/shoots
- Processes raw images using the appropriate software
- Archive assets as necessary
- Generates asset download reports
- Maintains accurate procedures and records for the system
- Keeps informed of latest Digital Asset Management technology trends and innovations
- Establish periodic data verification review processes to ensure data accuracy and to support easy and consistent search and delivery of assets
Requirements:
Expertise in Digital Asset Management (DAM):
- Experience in deploying, implementing, and managing DAM systems
- Ability to act as a super user and provide training to others
Metadata and Taxonomy Skills:
- Strong knowledge of developing and maintaining metadata entry protocols
- Experience in defining metadata and taxonomy guidelines for data consistency
Communication and Liaison Abilities:
- Ability to effectively serve as the primary liaison between clients and stakeholders
- Proficient in English for global communication
Analytical and Reporting Skills:
- Capable of generating asset download reports
- Establish and conduct data verification reviews to maintain data accuracy
Organizational and Archiving Skills:
- Experience in facilitating the retrieval and archiving of digital assets
- Maintain accurate records and procedures for the DAM system
