Role: Brand Manager  

Location: Toronto, ON

About the role: 

The Brand Manager will have excellent communication skills, fielding and managing brand marketing projects while bringing strong business acumen across several business disciplines. As the Brand Manager, you are detail-oriented and organized, maintaining timelines and ultimately delivering to needs. You can ascertain skillsets required for all projects and are mindful of engaging the right team members, for the right tasks, at the right time. Experience in planning and execution of marketing collateral, campaigns, and brand application/consistency is paramount. Experience working with agency partners and vendors outside of the main organization as well as with key stakeholders internally is required. You will be working with employees, internal agencies, and external agencies daily ensuring you’re the glue that keeps all projects and team members informed and working effectively.  

The Brand Manager will play a key role in developing and evolving brand standards, ensuring consistency across a global landscape. The role involves leading the creation and refinement of brand guidelines in partnership with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders, improving processes to support collaboration across multiple teams and agency partners, and driving clear, effective communication through ownership of global reporting and messaging strategies. This role also involves collaborating closely with various division leads, ensuring these stakeholders have the resources and information necessary to manage projects effectively. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Management of project details from start to completion. 
  • Accountability for all project requests, including scheduling and resourcing, as well as gathering business requirements from stakeholders to develop briefs for projects. 
  • Maintaining workflow systems by ensuring all project records and statuses are accurate and up to date 
  • Obtaining feedback in a structured manner and disseminating clarity to all stakeholders. 
  • Monitoring and incorporating feedback for continuous workflow improvement.  
  • Identifying and troubleshooting technological bottlenecks in workflow and/or asset management systems. 
  • Maintaining clear face-to-face and written communication at all times and managing stakeholder expectations. 
  • Curating and maintaining asset libraries to support all projects. 
  • Partnering with cross-functional agency teams to provide guidance and ensure high-quality project delivery from start to finish. 
  • Collaborating with team leads, providing detailed guidance, support, and resources to help manage their respective business lines. 
  • Working closely with vendors to identify, implement, and manage operational efficiencies, ensuring continuous improvement in service and delivery. 
  • Facilitating the smooth flow of operations between internal teams and external vendors.  

What you need to be great in this role: 

  •  5+ years of experience in Account Management or Project Management, preferably within a fast-paced agency or marketing environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a combination of education and work experience can be substituted. 
  • The ability to lead the creation and evolution of resources that support consistent brand presence across global markets. 
  • Comfortable collaborating with teams across regions to align on brand principles and ensure cohesive execution. 
  • A knack for building and maintaining scalable processes that make it easier for teams to work efficiently and stay aligned. 
  • A thoughtful approach to gathering feedback and applying it to improve systems, resources, and ways of working. 
  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster alignment and create a collaborative, supportive experience for global teams. 
  • Experience managing centralized brand tools or systems and ensuring alignment across diverse teams and regions. 
  • A mindset geared toward continuous improvement - always looking for ways to streamline workflows and elevate outcomes.
