Role: Resource & Project Manager

Location: Vancouver, Canada

About the role:

OLIVER is hiring a Resource & Project Manager to join our team partnering with one of Canada’s leading apparel brands.

You’ll be the primary driver of team capacity and delivery readiness—proactively planning resources, forecasting upcoming needs, and keeping a large creative operation balanced and resilient. You’ll also coordinate projects end-to-end, with direct client and stakeholder communication. Your core focus will be resource strategy, allocation, and optimizing workflows across creative and production in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. A strong attention to detail is a must for this role.

What you will be doing:

  • Build and maintain forward-looking capacity plans and resource forecasts to anticipate demand and prevent overload
  • Allocate and rebalance work across in-house teams and freelancers; resolve conflicts and reprioritize quickly as needs change
  • Maintain and grow a trusted freelance/vendor pool; coordinate onboarding, briefs, and expectations
  • Own resource-related tooling and data (workload views, dashboards, utilization reporting, hiring/contractor requests) and ensure accuracy of schedules and assignments
  • Translate requests into briefs, timelines, and resourcing plans aligned to brand strategy
  • Manage day-to-day client partnership with direct communication; run statuses, present work, and manage feedback and expectations
  • Serve as liaison between client and internal teams, coordinating work from brief through final delivery

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 5+ years managing resources for a large team within a creative or advertising agency required
  • Demonstrated expertise in capacity planning, forecasting, and utilization management
  • Deep understanding of creative and production workflows, handoffs, trafficking, QA, and asset management across digital/social, video/photo, and print/retail
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to make fast, informed decisions and pivot plans as priorities shift
  • Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills; able to present recommended solutions clearly and confidently
  • Proficiency with project tools required (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Monday.com); Adobe/Figma a plus
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $76,500.00 to $85,500.00 CAD. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
