Our AI solutions enhance efficiency, spark creativity, and drive insightful decision-making, empowering our teams to produce innovative and impactful results.

Role: Senior Designer

Location:  Chicago, Illinois - in office 4 days per week

About the role:

As Senior Designer, you'll operate as one of the most experienced creative hands in the studio — equally at home developing a social campaign toolkit, directing a CGI product render, or building out a retail display concept. Your 3D specialism will be central to how the team visualizes products, develops retail environments, and supports packaging development, while your broader design skills ensure the work is always connected to a coherent, channel-appropriate creative vision.

You'll bring confidence and creative authority to briefs, working with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with the Creative Director. You'll also be a senior presence in the room — mentoring junior designers, sharing your craft knowledge generously, and helping build a studio culture where quality and curiosity go hand in hand.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead design execution across social, digital, campaign, email, OOH, retail, and brand toolkit formats — producing work that is visually strong, on-brand, and channel-ready
  • Own the studio's 3D capability — producing CGI product visualization, retail display concepts, environmental renders, and supporting packaging development briefs
  • Create 3D motion and animation for social and digital channels, bringing product stories to life in formats that capture attention and drive engagement
  • Interpret complex, multi-format briefs independently — proposing creative solutions, presenting rationale clearly, and managing your own workload with pace and precision
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director on creative development — contributing ideas at the concept stage and elevating the quality of work across the team
  • Work closely with copywriters, strategists, producers, and account teams to deliver integrated, cohesive creative
  • Apply and flex brand guidelines with expertise across multiple Mark Anthony brand identities, ensuring consistency without sacrificing creativity
  • Mentor junior designers — providing clear, constructive feedback, sharing technical knowledge, and supporting their development
  • Use Gen AI tools to enhance ideation, accelerate workflows, and explore creative possibilities — and help others do the same
  • Stay ahead of 3D, design, and platform trends relevant to the beverage, lifestyle, and retail space, and bring those perspectives into the studio's output

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A portfolio that demonstrates both broad design craft and strong 3D capability — product visualization, retail environments, motion, and digital/social work
  • Advanced proficiency in Cinema 4D and Octane or Redshift for rendering (Blender considered as an equivalent); confident producing photorealistic product renders and 3D animation
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma
  • Experience compositing 3D and live-action or motion elements in After Effects or equivalent
  • A well-rounded design skill set — platform-savvy, typographically strong, and comfortable across campaign and content formats
  • Ability to lead creative execution independently and manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, embedded studio environment
  • A collaborative, generous approach to working with and developing others — particularly junior creatives
  • Clear, confident communication — able to present and discuss work credibly with the Creative Director and client stakeholders
  • Experience in the alcohol, beverage, or lifestyle sector is a plus, though not a requirement

Gen AI & Agentic Thinking

  • Advanced use of Gen AI tools relevant to design and 3D — including AI-assisted rendering, image generation, and workflow tools
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows for both personal output and team use
  • Ability to guide and train junior designers on effective, responsible use of AI tools within the creative process
  • Agentic thinking for complex, multi-format creative challenges — systematic, outcome-focused, and adaptable
  • Strong understanding of where AI enhances craft and where human creative judgement must lead
