
Senior Contract Manufacturing Manager

THE ROLE: SR. CONTRACT MANUFACTURING MANAGER
Our Senior Contract Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships for a defined product category, as well as possessing a strong understanding of the supply network across the Supply Chain. This position requires superior business negotiation and communication skills, analytical/problem-solving abilities, strategy ownership, a partnership-first mentality, and a demonstrated ability to deliver and implement new supply chain programs to support a rapidly scaling business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ownership and accountability of Contract Manufacturing partner(s) of an assigned product category – gummy experience required.
- Deliver relationship management to support high performing requirement standards of service, cost, quality and innovation needs for OLLY and SmartyPants.
- Create and own execution of an ongoing 3-year plan to support a supply base strategy of an assigned product category.
- Trusted go-to point of escalation for cross-functional partners to ensure resolution of any business needed deliverable opportunities.
- Support Sourcing events of new suppliers as needed to ensure supply base strategies are realized in areas of Innovation, Service, Capacity and Cost.
- Deliver Cost savings goals for OLLY and SmartyPants.
- Deliver supplier relationship management business reviews for Contract Manufacturers for assigned product category.
- Create KPI’s for all primary suppliers based on input from Finance, Supply Chain and Sales.
- Execute and/or renew supply agreements and negotiations, while maintaining key metrics in contract database to support the OLLY and SmartyPants businesses.
- Partner closely with Finance teams to ensure accuracy of payment terms, standard costs, PPV, and Invoicing.
- Act as a key player to support continuous improvement process for a rapidly scaling OPS team.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in supply chain and supplier management, and someone who thrives in a quickly growing environment with great communication across functions.
CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
- 5-10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management in CPG
- Proven experience in negotiations, contracts and agreements
- Experience owning and managing a complex end to end supply chain
- Specific experience in gummy manufacturing required
- Background in Planning, Logistics and Customer Service
- Lean, APICS or CPSM Certification or training a plus.
- Ability to be a collaborative team member in a dynamic growth environment
- Ability to step away from the details and share the big picture impact
- An analytical thinker with a “Can Do!” attitude

THE DETAILS
LOCATION: Remote, Midwest preferred to be able to be onsite with contract manufacturers
TRAVEL: 30-40%
HOURS: Full time, exempt (salaried)
MANAGER: Contract Manufacturing Director
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
The pay range for this position is $130,000 -$157,850 dependent on experience and location.
