Job Overview
The TMC Transport & Trade Specialist will be responsible for managing the international freight forwarding and the related operational administrative duties, including but not limited to, determining the correct method of shipment and providing an unbroken logistics chain for different goods.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas site.
Responsibilities
As the TMC Transport & Trade Specialist, you will:
- Define and maintain an ocean consolidation strategy for inbound shipment.
- Develop and manage standard operating procedures and shipping practices to effectively and efficiently carry out logistics activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide customs clearance support to ensure timely and smooth delivery of goods.
- Proactively work with carriers to identify and eliminate any obstacles in Logistics and demonstrate process improvement and operational efficiencies.
- File carriers claims with carriers.
- Resolve transportation issues with logistics, customer service, sales, demand planning, project management and manufacturing to achieve committed deliveries to customers (internal and external).
- Maintain effective track and trace process with in-transit shipments

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and some years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management.
- 5 years of experience in logistic of experience required.
- Customer service-oriented must have a sense of urgency and prioritize work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- English level: Intermediate.
