Job Overview

The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing marketing strategies to meet business objectives in line with the regional initiatives, product and channel strategies. This individual will implement marketing activities and support the sales organization in driving sales of OmniOn Power products and services in the APAC region and service as the community leader for other regional marketing managers.

The role reports to the APAC Region Leader and will be based in Taiwan or remotely if filled outside commutable distance to Taiwan. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Implements the local go-to–market product marketing strategy, including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in support of the applicable regions and global segment strategies.
  • Partners with Sales professionals, Product Managers, Business Development, and FAEs and to define value propositions, channel product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Coordinates market analyses with Business Development and Sales professionals. Evaluates and shares customer and market research ( customer spend in growth initiative sector) including market conditions (trends, drivers and constraints) and competitor intelligence.
  • Delivers appropriate product knowledge collateral and coordinate training with the appropriate subject matter expert for each sales channel.
  • Ensures all commercialization deliverables (ex. product presentations, datasheet, ordering guide, competitive analysis promotion etc.) are completed for new products on-time and communicated to sales, reps, channel partners and customers when appropriate.
  • Acts as community leader for region marketing managers globally by driving consistency of brand, media relations guidelines and other marketing initiatives.
  • Leads trade show strategy and implementation within region working with Sales professionals FAEs, Business Development and Product management.
  • Leads local web presence strategy including SEO.
  • Works with Sales professionals, Business Development and FAEs to drive brand awareness and equity in the region.
  • Drive lead generation process for the region utilizing Lead Central and other sales tools to drive pipeline growth and new customer acquisition Become leader within a community of regional marketing leaders. Responsibilities include: Lead development of brand management policy and guidelines; Lead development of media engagement guidelines and policies; Facilitate best practice sharing between regions on marketing activities.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 5 years marketing experience in technical or industrial environment.
  • Ability and willingness travel up to 30%.

 

Desired Characteristics

  • Proficiency with computer tools. Advanced computer skills, primarily with MS Office software programs, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and able to navigate internet and intranet tools.
  • Experience in commercialization of technical products.
  • Experience with Brand Management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High degree of self- motivation; Able work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Possesses technical experience and analytical thinking.
