Job Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in developing, optimizing, and scaling industrial assembly processes where raw materials are transformed into finished products. This position is responsible for designing and implementing production systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of safety and environmental compliance.

This position reports to the Engineering leader, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas site.

Responsibilities 
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

  • Assess process relevance and engineering equipment adequacy.
  • Design, install, and commission new production units, monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processes.
  • Conduct process development.
  • Prepare reports, flow diagrams, layouts, work instructions and charts.
  • Assess the safety and environmental impact of the process.
  • Support the conversion of small-scale processes into commercially viable large- scale operations.
  • Work closely with EHS, Maintenance and other support organizations to monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of the plant.
  • Ensure the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, to meet supply needs.
  • Assume responsibility for environmental monitoring and ongoing performance of processes.
  • Ensure that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with other specialists, including designers and suppliers responsible for the quality control of raw materials, intermediate and finished products, engineers responsible for plant maintenance, commercial colleagues on product specifications and productions schedulers, and the operating crew.

Basic Qualifications
· Engineering bachelor's degree.
· +3 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
· English level: Intermediate.
