ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
ONE is looking for a Digital Communications and Influence Assistant intern to work within the “Campaigns and Citizen Mobilization” team at the France office, based in Paris. The internship is set to start in September 2026 and will last 5 to 6 months.
The Campaigns team consists of a Campaigns Manager (currently on maternity leave until January), a Campaigns Officer, and a Volunteer Mobilization Assistant (intern).
Role and Key Responsibilities
- Manage our social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X, and Bluesky in collaboration with the Campaign Officer, based on our communications strategy.
- Create and/or translate various types of content (visuals, carousels, videos, etc.) for our social media channels.
- Analyze monthly results and performance across our various communication channels and draw conclusions and lessons to improve our social media presence.
- Conduct audits and benchmarks to suggest content recommendations for ONE’s social media channels in France, with the goal of recruiting more supporters across all our communication channels.
- Suggest interesting and timely content for newsletters or other emails to our supporters, as well as blog posts on advocacy campaigns at the national, European, and international levels.
- Organize and coordinate a monthly Instagram Live session between a guest and one of our Youth Ambassadors.
- Support the influence strategy by recommending content creators based on our target audiences and competitor benchmarks, as well as current “trends,” with a focus on pro bono work.
- Support the Campaigns Officer in developing and implementing a communications strategy for the 2027 presidential election, particularly through an influencer partnership.
- Any other relevant tasks requested by the Campaigns Officer.
Profile and Skills
- Studies in communications, social media, marketing, or digital media.
- Previous experience in communications or social media management is a plus.
- You are thorough, highly organized, self-reliant, resourceful, and pay close attention to detail.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You have strong communications skills, both in writing (clear, concise, and high-quality writing) and verbally.
- A good level of English is essential: we regularly communicate with our teams at the international level.
- You have a creative mindset and can suggest new ideas for innovative and relevant content.
- Proficiency in Canva and video editing software would be a plus.
- Above all, you have a genuine interest in international solidarity and a desire to help build a more just world.
