  • Become familiar with the ONE team and internal cell products.
  • Become familiar with in-house cell test methods, equipment, and facilities.
  • Work closely with ME design teammates to design and fabricate new test fixtures.
  • Execute cell and component level tests as required.

Within 6 months you will:

  • Take ownership of test execution and analysis and methods development.
  • Take ownership of testing and characterization methods development.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop promising internal/external characterization methods and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other system disciplines to plan and execute overall project delivery.

  • B.S. or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of cumulative experience (academia + industry) in electrochemistry, cell design (Electrodes, stack, enclosure, end caps, terminals, vents, etc.), thermal and structural materials and analysis, cell testing and characterization, cell manufacturing, and cell safety.
  • Experience in developing testing and characterization methods for multi-functional hardware components.
  • Test methods and fixture development for safety and abuse testing, DC fast charge testing, etc.
  • Experience with UN38.3, UL1642, GB/T 38031-2020, UN/ECE 100-03 testing standards.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
