About the Role 

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Services Network Engineer to join our growing Cloud Services team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage network infrastructure within cloud environments—primarily in private cloud deployments—with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. You’ll ensure seamless connectivity across hybrid architectures while supporting our business growth and operational resilience. 

You’ll work collaboratively across departments to support business needs, troubleshoot issues, and build robust and secure network solutions in a cloud-first environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design and Architecture: 
  Develop cloud-based network architectures that support high availability, scalability, performance, and security. 

• Implementation and Configuration: 
  Deploy and configure Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), VPNs, subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, firewalls, and other cloud network components. 

• Hybrid Networking: 
  Establish and manage hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud environments (e.g., using VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute). 

• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: 
  Utilize cloud-native tools and monitoring platforms to identify and resolve performance or connectivity issues. 

• Security and Compliance: 
  Implement security best practices, enforce segmentation and access controls, and support compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 

• Optimization: 
  Continuously analyze and tune cloud network performance to support business-critical applications and services. 

• Automation: 
  Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools to deploy, manage, and scale networking resources efficiently. 

• Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration: 
  Coordinate with cloud providers and internal stakeholders to align network strategies with business goals. 

Required Skills & Experience 

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), subnetting, firewalls, VPNs) 

• Experience designing and managing network architectures in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud platforms) 

• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud networking strategies 

• Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Terraform, Python, CloudFormation) 

• Experience with network monitoring and observability tools 

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and threat mitigation 

• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work across teams 

• Experience with network overlays such as EVPN, MPLS, or Segment Routing is a plus 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate) 

• Experience in private cloud or data center migrations 

• Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies 

• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD workflows
