Overview of Role

As a Senior Manager of AI Strategy at OneSix, you will help clients unlock business value by applying artificial intelligence in purposeful and scalable ways - with a strong focus on deploying machine learning models at scale. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Solution Engineering, and Delivery teams to help clients prioritize AI initiatives, assess readiness, and build tailored roadmaps to bring AI use cases to life.

You will be the strategic AI voice for our clients, guiding them through technology decisions, identifying tooling, and collaborating across teams to shape implementation strategies. Your ability to bridge business needs with technical possibilities will be critical to driving outcomes and deepening long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead AI strategy engagements for key clients - from assessing business goals and technical maturity to defining impactful use cases and crafting high-level AI roadmaps.
  • Facilitate client workshops to identify, prioritize, and validate AI use cases across departments and functions.
  • Evaluate AI readiness by assessing data architecture, governance, tooling, and organizational structure.
  • Guide clients in AI model and tool selection by bringing deep knowledge of the technology  landscape, including Machine Learning, Computer Vision,and  Large Language Models (LLMs).,
  • Collaborate with data engineering and AI teams to align roadmaps with technical feasibility and implementation timelines.
  • Drive client conversations around ROI and business impact, helping articulate measurable outcomes from AI initiatives.
  • Help shape OneSix's internal AI capabilities and IP, contributing to reusable frameworks, strategy accelerators, and the firm’s AI roadmap.
  • Build long-term relationships with client stakeholders, from technical teams to C-level leaders, acting as a trusted strategic advisor.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in management consulting and/or internal AI strategy roles within large enterprises.
  • Proven track record of leading AI strategy engagements, including identifying and prioritizing use cases, assessing technical maturity, and building implementation roadmaps.
  • Strong working knowledge of the AI and data tooling ecosystem, with the ability to clearly explain the value, risks, trade-offs, and integration patterns across Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and data stacks, including tools like AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
    Strong consultative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead engagements independently and operate in ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, from technical teams to C-level executives, both internally and externally.
  • Comfortable in both pre-sales and strategy delivery settings, helping scope new work while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments as well as high-growth tech services firms, ideally someone who can bring structure and agility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, psychology, engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
