The Challenge
We are seeking a Tech/Product Partner Manager to join our Product Strategy team within R&D. This role will be pivotal in identifying, developing, and managing strategic technical partnerships that extend the impact of our product ecosystem. You will serve as the bridge between our internal product, engineering, and research teams and our external partners—driving technical alignment, co-design efforts, and seamless integration across systems.
You’ll combine technical fluency, product acumen, and strategic thinking to help shape how we partner with the broader technology ecosystem to advance our R&D roadmap.
Your Mission
Partnership Strategy & Development
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential technology and product integration partners aligned with R&D and product strategy goals.
- Develop clear business and technical cases for new partnerships, including ROI, user value, and strategic fit.
- Own the relationship lifecycle with key technical partners—from scouting through launch and ongoing optimization.
Technical Design & Integration
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and partner technical teams to define integration architectures, data flows, and shared technical requirements.
- Drive co-design sessions and ensure alignment between internal and external technical roadmaps.
- Manage proof-of-concept (POC) and pilot projects, ensuring successful technical outcomes and scalable designs.
Cross-functional Leadership
- Partner closely with internal R&D, product, legal, and business development teams to define partnership models and execution frameworks.
- Translate complex technical details into clear business narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the “voice of the partner” in internal discussions—advocating for mutual value creation and integration excellence.
Governance & Performance
- Establish clear success metrics and monitoring frameworks for partnerships and integrations.
- Maintain visibility into partner roadmaps and identify opportunities or risks related to product alignment.
- Create documentation, playbooks, and integration guides to support scalability and repeatability.
You Are
You thrive at the intersection of technology, strategy, and partnership. You’re comfortable translating between engineering depth and business outcomes, and you love solving ambiguous technical and strategic challenges. You’re also skilled at building long-term relationships that advance both innovation and execution.
Required
- 6+ years of experience in product management, technical partnerships, or technical program management roles within a software or platform environment.
- Strong technical fluency—able to discuss APIs, SDKs, data schemas, architecture design, and integration workflows confidently with engineering teams.
- Proven experience managing external partnerships or integrations, from concept through execution.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect technical capabilities to product strategy and customer impact.
Preferred
- Experience in an R&D or innovation-focused environment.
